The CSC0500-17-B is a set of three extended red tire clamp claws designed specifically for use on dually trucks, double-set tires, and other wide-tire vehicles. Where the standard claw set (CSC0500-17-A) handles passenger cars and light trucks, these longer claws reach the extra depth needed to grip properly on dually rear axles and similarly wide tire configurations.

Dually rear tires on heavy-duty pickup trucks (F-350, RAM 3500, Silverado/Sierra 3500HD, etc.) have a wider overall tire width than single-rear-wheel vehicles. Standard-length claws may not reach or grip correctly on these tires. The extended claws on the CSC0500-17-B are proportioned to handle that extra width, ensuring proper clamp engagement during alignment.
