The IKEYRZ4TP is Autel's Razor-tier IKEY in the BMW 8 Series style with four buttons: Lock, Unlock, Trunk, Panic. This is the full-featured BMW-style IKEY — all four primary key functions in the slim Razor profile. A BMW-type emergency blade is included. Programs via the KM100 or any Autel IM-series tablet.
IKEYRZ3T vs. IKEYRZ4TP — Which BMW Razor Key Do You Need?
The Razor tier has two BMW-style IKEYs:
- IKEYRZ3T — 3 buttons (Lock, Unlock, Trunk). For BMW applications without panic on the OEM fob.
- IKEYRZ4TP — 4 buttons (Lock, Unlock, Trunk, Panic). For BMW applications with factory panic button.
Match the button count to the customer's original key. If the OEM fob has a red panic button, use the IKEYRZ4TP. If it is a simple 3-button key, use the IKEYRZ3T. Using a 4-button blank on a 3-button application generally still programs, but the extra button will not have a mapped function — confirm with your specific tablet's coverage notes.

BMW Key Programming Considerations
BMW IMMO systems — especially 5th and 6th generation systems on newer models — are among the more demanding programming jobs. Depending on the year and model, you may need the XP400Pro key programmer (included with the IM608 PRO II bundle) and the IMKPA adapter kit for full BMW/Mini/Rolls-Royce capability. The IKEYRZ4TP is the blank — your tablet and programmer determine whether you can complete the job on a specific BMW. Use Autel's vehicle coverage tool to pre-confirm before taking an AKL job on a newer BMW.
