Autel MaxiIM IKEY IKEYRZ3T — 3-Button BMW-Style Razor Programmable Smart Key

The IKEYRZ3T is Autel's entry-level Razor-tier IKEY in the BMW 8 Series keyhead style. Three buttons: Lock, Unlock, Trunk. This is the most affordable Autel IKEY in the BMW-style lineup, and it gives shops a cost-effective blank for BMW applications that do not require a Panic button. A BMW-type emergency blade is included. Programs via the KM100 or any Autel IM tablet.

Razor vs. Premium: Understanding the IKEY Tiers

Autel IKEYs come in three tiers — Razor, Premium, and Standard. The Razor tier uses an 8 Series BMW-profile shell. It is the cleanest, most minimal design in the lineup — slim profile, contemporary look. The Razor tier currently has two BMW-style options:

  • IKEYRZ3T — 3 buttons (Lock, Unlock, Trunk). No Panic.
  • IKEYRZ4TP — 4 buttons (Lock, Unlock, Trunk, Panic).

Premium-tier IKEYs (IKEYHY, IKEYNS, IKEYCR, IKEYGM, etc.) use brand-specific shells that mimic OEM key aesthetics for Hyundai, Nissan, GM, Chrysler, and other brands. If you need a BMW-style key, Razor is the tier you use.

Professional locksmiths and NASTF-certified VSPs handling BMW key programming jobs. The IKEYRZ3T is appropriate for BMW applications where the OEM key has 3 buttons and no panic. It is also the Razor-tier blank of choice if a shop wants a universal, brand-neutral looking key for general use — the 8 Series profile is clean enough to pass in most contexts.

Note that BMW key programming — especially for newer models with advanced anti-theft systems — may require the XP400Pro programmer and IMKPA adapter kit to access the IMMO ECU. Confirm your tablet and programmer combination covers the specific BMW model year before committing to an all-keys-lost job.
