The Autel CUMMINS8 adapter is a purpose-built 8-pin connector for diagnosing Cummins engines on construction and agriculture equipment operating off-road. What the CUMMINS8 Does
Cummins off-highway applications use a proprietary 8-pin diagnostic port that differs from standard on-highway connectors. The CUMMINS8 adapter plugs into that port and connects to the Autel MaxiSYS MS909CV tablet and its VCI, enabling full engine diagnostics on Cummins-powered off-highway equipment. Without this adapter, the MS909CV cannot communicate with Cummins off-road machines — it is the required physical link for that coverage.
