What This Does
Modern vehicles with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and similar radar-dependent systems require radar sensor recalibration after any service that disturbs the sensor's position — including front-end collision repairs, bumper removal, or sensor mounting service. The corner reflector creates a precise radar reflection point in front of the vehicle that the Autel calibration software uses to guide the sensor back to its calibrated baseline.

Frame System Compatibility

Required Tablet and Software
The corner reflector alone does not perform a calibration. To complete radar calibration using this hardware, you need:
- MaxiSYS ADAS tablet (such as MS909, MS919, or other ADAS-capable MaxiSYS) with ADAS software — OR —
- MaxiSYS 908 Series tablet with the ADAS Software Upgrade purchased and installed
The Autel ADAS software provides vehicle-specific instructions for reflector positioning distance and height, then guides the calibration procedure step by step. Without the ADAS-capable tablet and current software, this hardware cannot perform a complete calibration.
CSC802-01 vs. CSC0800 — Which Do You Need?
- CSC802-01 with CSC800 (this product, SKU 802-01, $860): Complete set — corner reflector plus stand. Buy this if you are setting up radar calibration from scratch or need a complete replacement assembly.
- CSC0800 stand only (SKU 800, $425): Stand hardware only — no reflector included. Buy this if you already have an OE corner reflector and only need the positioning hardware, or are replacing a damaged stand.
Most shops need the complete CSC802-01 set. The CSC0800 stand-only is for specific situations where the reflector is already on hand.
Radar Calibration vs. LDW Camera Calibration
It is worth understanding the distinction: radar calibration (this tool) is separate from LDW camera calibration. Many modern vehicles require both types of ADAS calibration — radar for ACC/FCW/AEB functions, and camera calibration for LDW/lane-keeping functions. If you are setting up a complete ADAS capability, you need both radar calibration hardware (this product) and camera calibration targets for the makes you service.
