The Autel Total Care Program (TCP) for the MaxiSYS MS909EV extends your tool's software subscription and warranty coverage for one additional year. The MS909EV is a professional EV and hybrid diagnostic tablet with a dedicated EVDiag Box for high-voltage battery pack analysis. Why EV Software Updates Are Non-Negotiable

A 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV and a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV have different BMS architectures, different charging systems, and different fault code structures. A 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E and a 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning have different high-voltage topologies. If your MS909EV software is 18 months out of date, you may be able to read codes on some new EVs but unable to access battery pack data, perform HVAC system resets, or run charging system diagnostics on others. The TCP keeps those capabilities current as the vehicles change.

On the conventional vehicle side, the same argument applies: CAN FD protocol updates, new service function procedures, and new model year coverage all require software refreshes to maintain full functionality.
